INGREDIENTS: Basil leaves (Ocimum basilicum).

ORIGIN: Poland, Spain, and Egypt.

TASTING NOTES: It is characterized by a sweet, fresh, and very fragrant aroma, with subtle notes reminiscent of anise and clove. Its flavor is mild but very refreshing.

USE: It is the undisputed star of Italian cuisine, essential for making pesto sauce and accompanying Caprese salad. It is used to flavor tomato sauces, oils, pasta dishes, pizzas, and preparations with eggplant or creamy cheeses. It is recommended to add it at the end of cooking to preserve all its aroma.
