DESCRIPTION: Whole dehydrated bay leaves, with an intense aroma and herbal flavor with slightly bitter notes. A classic in Mediterranean cuisine, it is used to flavor stews, broths, sauces, marinades, legumes, and meats. It adds depth and aromatic balance to traditional and gourmet preparations.
INGREDIENTS: Selected bay leaves (Laurus nobilis).
ORIGIN: India, Egypt, Syria, Georgia, Spain
TASTING NOTES: It has a very balsamic, intense, and refreshing aroma, with notes reminiscent of pine and eucalyptus. Its flavor is slightly bitter and very herbaceous, providing a deep and rounded flavor base for slow cooking.
USE: It is the aromatic herb par excellence for stocks, broths, stews, and legumes. It is used whole so that it releases its essential oils during cooking (remove before serving). It is also ideal for flavoring oils, vinegars, meat and fish marinades, or for cooking seafood, providing an unmistakable fragrance.
STORAGE: Store in a dry, dark, and cool place
