TASTING NOTES: It is a vibrant emerald green tea with an intense and complex flavor. It presents a unique balance between natural sweetness ("umami"), a slight herbaceous bitterness, and fresh notes reminiscent of freshly cut grass. Its mouthfeel is creamy and persistent.
USE: Traditional ritual: Whisk a small amount (1-2g) with hot water (not boiling, about 80°C) using a bamboo whisk (chasen) until a layer of fine foam is created. Matcha Latte: Mix with milk or plant-based beverages. Baking: It is a star ingredient for cakes, ice creams, smoothies, and cookies, providing an unmistakable color and flavor.
